Hey there, welcome to my SEO Canberra blog.
This blog is dedicated to showcasing the analysis of various websites and online properties of the businesses, companies and organisations that I have conducted research and analysis services either for, or upon the request of another business.I have been providing local Canberra and Sydney businesses optimised content creation, competition and niche analysis, business intelligence and SEO services for the last four years. This followed 20 years in digital design. Now let me tell you, when you have been designing web sites for as long as I have, you can get around to thinking that your creative is pretty good. I had won a number of "Best of the Web" and "Cool Site of the Day" awards for work I had done for Government clients. I was getting paid rude amounts of money, but at the end of the day I really had no idea at all about how to get a website to even appear in results for a search for their own name. Like most web designers and almost all agencies, I was clueless.
I urge any front-end web designer or backend developer, especially those working in creative or digital agencies, to allocate some of your professional development efforts this year into gaining at least some basic knowledge and understanding of what Search Engine Optimisation is, and more importantly, what it is that Google actually wants from you.
